Join us on the Winter
Art Walk and help in our efforts of supporting art programs in San Francisco!
Bring along some new, packaged, school age
supplies to be donated in the Mission District and Hunters Point elementary
schools!
Your kind donation is very much appreciated.
The galleries of Post and Sutter Streets in Union Square invite you to
the Winter Art Walk on Saturday, February 5,from
12-5pm. Participating galleries will be open to the public and
will exhibit a diverse group of emerging and established artists working
in a variety of genres and media that include painting, sculpture and
mixed media. The event will feature performance art, artist talks, gallery
events, live music, and other engaging activities through out the afternoon.
Local cafes and restaurants will provide refreshments and food while neighboring
businesses will offer special discounts and promotions along the Art Walk
Route in Union Square. This year each gallery will
have an ART BOX to collect new, school-aged art supplies
to be donated to public elementary schools in the Mission District and
at Hunters Point. Your donation of paper, drawing pads, paint,
colored pencils, art sets, anything new and in good condition is very
